Discounting |
Volume Discounting
This CyberStrong eShop add-on can specify quantity-based
discounts across one or more products. You can offer a discount on a single product or on
all products of a related type. Discounts are reported as separate shopping cart items so
that your customer can readily see the discounts that they have earned. By clicking the View
Discount Schedule link your customer can see your discount table in a popup window.
Discount tiers can be displayed as unit costs as shown in the example below, or as a
reduction of the base cost.
CyberStrong eShop supports three types of volume discounts.
- Percent: The Discount Value is
given as a percentage reduction of the base price of the item.
- Per Unit: The Discount Value is
given as an amount to be subtracted from each item sold.
- Per Order: The Discount Value is
given as a one time, order-wide, dollar discount.
