Calculate sales tax in one or two tiers using CyberStrong eShop's advanced tax add-on. By
establishing a set of "tax rules" virtually any sales tax situation can be
easily handled.How It
Works
When a customer places an order, a tax rule table is searched for a match against the
customer's address. Matching may be based on any combination of the customer's country,
city, state and/or postal code. When a match is found, formulas provided the vendor are
used to calculate one or two tiers of tax. You may include or exclude shipping charges as
a part of your formula. The tier-two tax formula may also include the calculated tier one
tax if required. Either the bill to or ship to address may be targeted for matching.
To simplify rule entry, CyberStrong eShop's tax rule
table supports the use of "pattern" matching. For example, a ZIP code pattern of
"22..." matches customer ZIP codes beginning with "22" while a pattern
of "22[0-2].." matches all customer ZIP codes beginning with "220",
"221", and "222". Similar patterns may be applied to country, state,
and city names.

Here are just a few of the sales tax scenarios that can
be handled using CyberStrong eShop's advanced tax add-on:
- Differing state and county taxing.
- Canadian GST/PST or HST.
- European VAT.
